Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you post a whisper, we store the text you write, the name and location you optionally provide, and the time you posted. If you sign in with Google or a magic link, we also store your email address and a display name to link your posts across devices.

We do not collect passwords. We do not track your location beyond what you choose to type. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

How we use it

Your whisper is displayed publicly in the feed. Your name and location (if provided) appear alongside it. Reactions — Amen and Peace — are counted and stored against each post.

If you sign in, your posts are linked to your account so your whisper history is available across devices. We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to any third party.

Sign-in providers

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us. We use this only to create and manage your account. Google's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data on their end.

Magic link sign-in is handled via Resend. Your email is used solely to send the sign-in link and is not used for marketing.

Data retention

Posts remain in the feed unless you contact us to request removal. If you delete your account, your posts are anonymised — the text remains (others may have been touched by it) but your name and email are removed.
